Lorna has a warm, practical, facilitative approach to helping leaders and teams improve overall effectiveness and performance. She helps her clients shift their thinking to power new behaviors and attitudes to achieve greater results. When working with leaders and their teams, she focuses on building capability to drive performance with emphasis on understanding self and others, building a systems view, and leveraging individual talents in the best interest of the whole. Her strength in facilitating diverse groups by making their thinking visible enables teams to more quickly align to a common purpose, engage in meaningful conversation, and develop creative solutions.

Lorna’s expertise is grounded in a career dedicated to helping others unleash their passion, potential and power to achieve success. Her experience as a clinician, operations leader, and internal consultant has given her a deep understanding of how to create practical solutions that help individuals and teams learn and grow in the face of constant change. As a business partner to her clients, she worked with senior leaders to execute on organization-wide strategic and change initiatives, develop their teams, and facilitate cross-functional work groups. She has helped a wide range of organizations (non-profit, for profit, government agencies) to build their strategic plans, design their people strategies, develop their leadership teams, lead change, and engage their employees. 

Lorna holds a Bachelors degree in Science from the University of Washington and is a graduate of the Harvard Business School Executive Leadership Program. She has also completed certifications including: Myers-Briggs Type Inventory; Influencer, The Power to Change Anything; Accelerating Implementation Methodology; Six Sigma Change Acceleration Program; Facilitative Leadership; GROW performance coaching; Accelerated Learning.

Of Okinawan and Japanese descent, Lorna has deep Asian and Polynesian roots, and is currently in Kailua, Hawaii working with diverse, multicultural groups.
